Jenny Craig is a diet that offers you a small percentage of the food you would eat in a normal diet but at a higher price. You get to eat the food you would normally eat, but every meal is pre-made and provided to you in a box. You're given a booklet to read at each meal and after 3 months you are given a Jenny Craig party. At the party you are given a choice of what you want, you could choose anything, from pizza to steak, salad, etc.
The diet and exercise program of Jenny Craig is one that I think is actually helpful for most overweight people. It is not a miracle diet that I have found to be a miracle cure for weight loss and it is not a ''quick fix''. It is for the long term, it requires consistency, and it must be incorporated into a lifestyle that is not currently being followed. I think that this program, like some others, can be helpful for a person like me who does not have a lot of self-control when it comes to weight.
This was a difficult diet to stick to because it requires you to weigh yourself daily and stick to a meal plan which is difficult to follow. You have to go through the list of foods you are allowed each day and if you eat a forbidden one, you have to pay for it with a coupon. You can’t eat in the evenings and you have to eat every three hours. It is a very restrictive diet and I always felt like the more I ate, the more hungry I would be when I went to bed.'
