weight loss plateau
My goal is to lose 10 pounds in 14 days. My plan is to work out three to five times a week and eat less than I normally would. I have lost 9 pounds since February. I have completed 16 weeks and lost an average of a pound a week.
I have been on this weight loss plateau for a number of years. I have a lot of ideas on how to get past this plateau but I am having a hard time getting them to work. The only weight loss program I have followed has been the 7-day meal plan. It seems to really work for me at first but after a couple of weeks, it always seems to revert back to my old habits.
This was a plateau that I had hit at a time where I had lost 2kg per week for a month and was continuing to lose weight while doing nothing active other than walking. I wasn’t getting any stronger nor was I losing any fat mass. I did lose a little fat mass, but not any muscle mass. I was then told by a nutritionist that I probably hadn’t been eating enough protein.
“Your body is telling you that you need to stop overeating,” he says. “Why do you keep eating when you know this?”
I've struggled with weight loss since the age of 10-14. I've gone from being a healthy 130 to being a healthy 115. I'm starting to see some small gains after a break of about two months and want to push my weight loss to the next plateau. I am trying to maintain a diet that consists of mostly lettuce, broccoli, and carrots.
