How Weight loss changed my life
It all began with a weight loss challenge. Before the challenge started, I was fit, healthy, and happy with who I was. I had three jobs, a family, a house, and a life. The first 10 days were the hardest.
My life changed for the better after I started taking action. I was at my most overweight since my teens, and I was suffering from depression. I began to lose weight, which felt miraculous. I even began to make friends with my scales and to count the number of steps I walked each day.
In 2008, I decided to make a change in my lifestyle. Over the next few years, I started going to the gym, quit smoking, and became a vegan. I lost 100 lbs, learned how to meditate, and learned a lot of other new things.
My mother has a severe form of multiple sclerosis. Over the years, she has lost a lot of weight. Her weight loss resulted in a reduced quality of life, and her illness in turn caused her to gain weight. I recently lost weight myself due to a combination of stress, poor diet, and lack of exercise.
