The only weight loss kick starts plan that I know of is from the book called The Secret. I can’t tell you how many times I want to take that book out and throw it in the trash, but I can’t. Because I think that there are things that I need to be reminded of, things that I need to know, that I probably won’t get from other places. It helped me get my family started on their own weight loss kick start plan.
I have been on a mission for the past few weeks to do my best to lose weight. I need to start eating healthier and getting more exercise. I’m looking to make this one of the more important goals that I make a priority each week. My best friend and I have decided that we will be working together on this goal and working together to make this a success.
My goal is: Lose 25 pounds in 15 days. By the end of this challenge, I want to be able to compete in a triathlon. I also want to be able to do 30 minutes of cardio at least 5 times a week. I want to be able to eat healthily and not be afraid to try new foods.
I feel like I have wasted a lot of years. I have been overweight my entire adult life. So I started to look for a different way to start and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I came across an article about a program called The 5:2 Diet.
I have been eating low-carb since my sophomore year of high school and I am proud to say that I have lost over 50 lbs. I decided to go low-carb for a few reasons: I didn’t want the carbs, I knew that they were bad for me, and I didn’t want to eat bread. I’m still currently on a low-carb diet and I plan on sticking with it for the foreseeable future. I am in the best shape of my life, I feel much happier than I have in years, I sleep better, and I have an overall better attitude towards life – most importantly I feel that I am in control of my health.
